Software Engineer and Evershift Co-Founder Jesse Dean Lavendt
The recipient of a bachelor of computer science from George Mason University, Jesse Dean Lavendt garnered extensive experience in Python, Java, and C# while in university. Jesse Dean Lavendt worked on various projects involving traffic simulation, hyperparameter tuning, bit packing, and search algorithms. He also co-founded Evershift, a mobile and web app that pairs restaurants with qualified workers to fill last-minute shift vacancies.
Upon graduating, Jesse Dean Lavendt joined Genuent-Talent Path as a full-stack engineer. He spent two years with the company and was responsible for backend Java Spring Boot and frontend Angular Typescript development. Among other projects, he created a program that allowed users to catalog video games they've played or in which they have an interest and a full stack replication of checkers.
Now working as a software engineer contractor, he continues to utilize C#, Python, and Java as well as Angular Typescript to complete various projects. He's also familiar with SQL and HTML/CSS. His extracurricular interests include playing the guitar and video games as well as hiking.
